The JDP-15M tackles jobs both big and small, thanks to its quick-release, crank-operated worktable height adjustment, which allows rotation to 45 degrees in either direction. It also features a full 10-by-13-inch work surface in front of the drill bit. For added flexibility, the table features X-pattern mounting grooves, and it is reversible for mounting a fence in the rear mounting grooves.
Powerful Motor and Adjustable Tension Spindle Return for Consistency
The JDP-15M owes its robust performance to a 3/4 HP, 115/230-volt motor for reliable power and variable speed. It also has a 15-inch swing and includes an adjustable tension spindle return that's ideal for repetitive drilling of the same depth.
Time-Saving Hinged Metal Belt, Pulley Cover, and Quick-Set Bolt
A hinged metal belt and pulley cover provide quick and easy access to the quick adjustment motor mount, making for rapid spindle speed changes. To save you even more time, the depth stop displays in both inches and millimeters, and it has a quick-set bolt for fast, accurate adjustments.
Push-Button Switch and Ball bearing Construction for Safety and Durability
Designed to be both durable and user-friendly, the JDP-15M features a push-button switch conveniently located on the front, and the spindle is supported by high-quality ball bearings. Finally, the 66-millimeter quill assembly can fit the optional Jet mortising attachment--perfect for those looking to expand the capabilities of the drill press.
The JDP-15M measures 23 x 12 x 32 inches (WxHxL), weights 163 pounds, and comes with a five-year warranty.
About JET: A History of Sharing New, Feature-Rich Products
Opened in 1958 after the founder of the company, Leslie P. Sussman, took the first Boeing Jet Airplane trip from Seattle, Washington to Japan, JET began as a small dealer that sold air hoists and trolleys out of a single hardware store in Seattle. Over the years, JET has carried everything from snowmobiles, transmitter radios, and forklifts to nylon stockings, but by the early 1970s, metalworking had become the base of their business line. And by the 1980s, JET had expanded into the realm of woodworking. Today, you'll find that JET offers a wide range of popular woodworking tools that are backed with best-in-class features and excellent service.
